Dear all,

Could you please provide me how I can resolve the below issues:
1. Our current SIP Trunk provider is Exponential-e.com, we have some new telephone numbers(ex 0203*74), which is currently from different SIP Trunk provider and will switch it to the Exponential-e.com provider shortly, need to be added in our 3CX portal.

2. If someone from external calls to the new telephone numbers(ex 0203*774) that the reception’s phone (ex 02077200) will ring.

Below is what I did as I am not sure if it is correct or not as the phone numbers haven't been switched it over yet so I can't test it.

Hi
Your trunk is registred green, Good !
your job seems good related to what you explain you want to have.
Yes external call will be forwarded to 7200 operator extension
so finger cross, your trunk provider didn't provide your a temporary number you can test your scenario with?

Hi
Many thanks for your feedback that makes me feel more confident.
Basically that is our client's environment and I am doing this for them.
I will ask the client if they have a temporary number from the provider that I can test it with.

Much appreciated your feedback!!! :)

I will keep you updated once the number has been switched it over.

Hello @Thomas2019
Normally when they send you information about trunk (id, psw etc), they give a temporary principal trunk number ! :)
If not call the provider, they'll give you that easily

Hi INDY_Mathieu,

Thank you for information.

I will contact customer and see if we can get a temporary number for test.

Hope you have a nice weekend.

You're welcome, have a great weekend too mate :)
