Ver 20.0 New installation. I had most features configured (SIP, Users, adding phones). After doing a suggested update, I am no longer able to log into Admin console.
I see "Disconnected. Reconnecting in xx seconds."

Opening up browser using FDQN inside the LAN.

Other than uninstalling and starting over...I'm stuck. Client is without phones service now.

Thanks for any suggestions.

Which update, the u5 release candidate?

Well I'm not sure. I can't log in to see which one it was. But I presume the release candidate.
Should I uninstall and start over with a clean install?

When applying an update it takes a few minutes to deploy.

The admin console does not log you out when performing an update. This is why it shows the "Disconnected. Reconnecting in xx seconds." dialog at the bottom.

After a few minutes it should apply the update, restart your services, and log you in automatically, well "log you in" as you never really logged out. it should just refresh the page.

Check the services on your machine, probably give it a reboot, and if the update failed, try it again, but just leave it to do its own thing.

If it does fail you should receive an email with a log.

Famous last words "it should." After doing the update I was in the system for a bit. I closed the browser and came back a few minutes later - starting up with my FQDN and local IP both gives the same "disconnected." That is when I see "disconnected..." and 12 hours later I still see this. I'm going back to square 1. Uninstall and reinstall.

It lets you log in and then shows the message? Or it's still trying to connect from before when it was left logged in?

Incognito window?

An RC should be relatively stable but if it's a live server I'd suggest sticking with released versions. To get to the RC though you'd have had to upgrade through the alpha and beta...

CLOSED. I installed a clean V20 and can now log in.
Of course my SIP Trunk is not registering with Vitelity. One problem after the next :-)
