After upgrade from V18 to V20, we cannot reconnect google transcription.

We are following this article, we had this working great under version 18.

Step 5: Enable Remote Archiving and Enable Transcription
To configure 3CX to use transcription for voicemails and/or recordings, navigate to the Admin Console > “System” > “Storage”.

We do not have a storage button to click! It is missing.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

We did not upgrade to the alpha version because of this warning:

Important: The Alpha version should be installed for evaluation purposes only. It is not recommended for production systems.

The storage page wont exist until you upgrade. I cant remember where it would be outside of this and i dont have an old system to check.

If this is true, they should really update this document. Please indicate with a special note at the top, that it is mandatory to update to the latest alpha version which will not be supported to enable these features.

The Google integration is still available somewhere in the menu but the location specifically isnt.

We found a better option just to close out this thread. Moved to OpenAI Whisper. Took about 5 minutes to setup and works much better than google. Not sure why anyone would even use the google option as this point. Hit the easy button and move on.
