We performed a Windows to Linux migration for the 3CX PBX overnight and everything is working fine except for two things.

1) Users can not set their status on the iOS nor Android app, it's just grey.
2) Under status, no extensions are showing either.

Everything else seems to be working fine. Does anyone have any thoughts as to whats going on?

Have you tried sending them the welcome email to register the extension on the mobiles ?

Did the IP of your machine change? And is the console showing up everything as expected?

@Saqqara I've reregistered my extension and yea, it's doing the same thing.

@Frederick Marcoux The outside IP did change but the FQDN is the same. I'm able to interact with the web console just fine. Doesn't seem to be any issues there.

Can you access the management console externally.

Have you run the firewall test , if so all green.

Check your network settings - Management Console - Network Settings.

Did the internal network IP address change

Are the mobiles connected internally via WIFI or mobile data - check using 3G / 4G

@Saqqara The old server is offline already. The network settings do look correct but the firewall tests are failing. I'm looking into that now.

As long as the firewall test is failing, you'll have issues for sure! That's why it's there!

@Frederick Marcoux I've resolved the firewall issue, which is now green but we're still having the issue with the status not showing up and no extensions showing.

Inside LAN is also failing? Accessing the webclient via IP?

Status is done over port 5001 (or if you've changed the management port that one) IIRC so I'm guessing something in your NAT rules or similar. Easiest way to test is to bypass NAT but using internal IP (or FQDN if using managed DNS)

How did you install the Linux version, did you use the 3cx Debian iso image ?

I was able to get this resolved. I reinstalled 3cx and restored from backups. When I switched over from Windows to Linux, I switched the port from 5001 to 443. Reinstalling and going back to 5001 fixed the issue for me.

@mygeeknc

Just want to add that re-sending the welcome email and reprovisioning the 3CX Apps using the new config should've also resolved this issue.

In any case, glad to see you managed to resolve this issue!
