Algo Sip 8028 Intercom provisioning with 3CX in remote site

Hi All,

I am currently hosting my 3CX in the cloud. I am using a remote server and I want to set up an Sip Intercom at a remote site. I am trying to configure this to the best of my knowledge but I just recently got into 3CX and finished all the phones configs. The device is not listed on the list of compatible devices on the drop down of extensions. Can anyone point me into the direction of resolving this issue and or is it even possible to do ?

I've set a couple of these up, they are a manual configuration across a VPN connection for the best results if you want to connect remotely to 3CX cloud.

Got it. Therefore, there is no other was to set it up other then VPN if the PBX is in a remote location ?

If manual VPN connections is your best option.

You maybe able to use SBC or STUN but I have not tried it.

For SBC the device would require a proxy server setting to point to (The SBC) and STUN a STUN server setting.
