I have 3 systems that auto-updated over the weekend and now all phones are missing from the phone page. Phones are still working for calls etc, but I can't see them in the UI to manage them (one needs a firmware update).

This appears to be the same issue Joey D had in this thread: https://www.3cx.com/community/threa...matic-16-0-6-641-update-6-installation.75735/

Using Chrome instead of Safari fixes the issue, but that's not really a fix as much as a workaround (in particular since I make extensive use of Keychain and only Safari supports Keychain). Anyone know a fix for this? Clearing caches doesn't seem to get the job done.

Do a Ctrl+Shift+R. This will refresh and clear the cache.

The page changed a bit so the scripts must be reloaded.

Ctrl+Shift+R doesn't appear to do anything in Safar.

I've tried Command+Option+R which should be the clear cache and refresh for Safari, but it doesn't work. I've also tried shift + clicking the refresh (same as command+option+r) with no luck.

Safari is not a supported web browser for 3CX - need to use Chrome, Edge (Chromium) or Firefox

Hi Mark,

As above, Safari is not a supported browser so we do not check it for compatibility. We support the latest versions of Chrome, Edge and Firefox only, so any future changes we make will not guarantee that other browsers that happened to work in the past, will continue to work in the future.

That's a shame.... Safari is such a good browser and the Mac world just keeps getting larger, not smaller. A small thing to be sure, but sure seems like supporting Safari would be a worthwhile endeavor.

The problem is not Safari. It's Apple. They keep refusing to implement modern WebRTC APIs and all the required APIs around it, just for "privacy".

Use Chrome, Edge or Firefox. Or to be honest, don't use Safari at all.

I didn't come here to try to start an argument, but "privacy" actually matters to many people and it seems Apple has a better reputation there than others. I have many people to support on many different systems and the theory of "don't use Safari at all" sounds like a nice thing in an isolated IT bubble world, but in the real world that's not actually something I can tell my customers.

Thankfully my customers typically don't need to administer their own phone systems and I'm not opposed to using Chrome to do that for them. I'm mildly annoyed that I have to do the lookup, copy, paste routine for the admin passwords now (as I said before I use keychain), but that's not a deal breaker.

I hope that someday 3CX makes a business decision to officially support Safari. In the meantime nothing changes for me other than I now have to fire up Chrome when I have to do phone system administration.

Apple better reputation ? I guess you are not working in IT hahaha how many servers runs on Apple OS ? ;)
Apple is just a big business for thoses who have lot of cash and don't want to manage everything, like rich kids.
I hope you will understand that this comment is not against you but against Apple.
