Is there more information about this "Allow group to be called and routed" tick box? I can't find anything on Google and the forum besides one thread. What is the logic behind being activated or not?

Thank you

The option allows a group to be routable so you are able to route calls to a specific group. With the option disabled calls to that group will not work.
Note: If you make a change through the webclient while the option is off and route a call to a group the option will be auto-enabled for you.

I see, what would be the difference between this and a ring group?

It has nothing to do with ring group.
A blog post will be published soon for Users Groups.
According to the information I know, someone is working on a text that explains the new users groups in detail. ;)

It will be much clearer for everyone.

But in summary, the new users groups make it possible to offer to manage parameters which were previously “Global” (for all users of the system), by users group.. for example: different office located in different time zones.

It is possible to assign "Manager" of users group having the power to control the members (addition / deletion) of queues, add/edit/remove its IVR and the routing of calls intended for its users group.. without having the possibility of seeing / controlling the “parameters”, IVR, Queues etc. of the other users groups.

This is without a doubt the most beautiful innovation of 3CX, in version 18.6!

Thanks, lots of changes to keep track of lately.
Merci!

When I say group i mean a group of extensions. From there you can route calls within the group following the Groups office hours or holidays. Groups are now much more powerful and offer much finer control of the system.

Ring groups have nothing to do with Group rights and group routing.

Is it possible to route calls to a User Group from the management console? I only see options for this in the admin section of the webclient.
EDIT: Playing with the Groups in the web client admin, i now understand this question doesn't make sense. User Group routing is more to Group DID's with users, it doesn't make the user group ringable.
New Question: is there documentation on this new routing style?
