Hi, we are using Hikvision intercoms, we can use the indoor panels as sip clients, but they use exosip as agent...

Seems User-Agent: eXosip/3.6.0, are being blocked by 3CX... Is it possible to override the config so we can connect our intercoms?

Thnx , appreciated

Nothing to do with agent but the sip version -, both hikvision has to confirm to standard sip2.0 which is used by 3cx

Using google I found this http://www.hikvisioneurope.com/port... or Indoor Station to Standard SIP Server.pdf

Check page 6, this devices are not compatible with 3cx but this may have changed as the document is dated 2018.

Have you’d tried to manually configure the sip details, the message is relating to incorrect details entered for the sip account

Though the mentioned devices are not supported by 3CX, I do confirm that the particular user agent is blocked by 3CX. I would recommend consulting the vendor's documentation in order to figure out if there's a way to change the User Agent to hopefully work around this.

You could of course consider using a 3CX Supported device instead.

Hi
quite diffcult to contact a vendor, to change something, this will have effect on al users woldwide, if they change sip agent i a newer firmware, it will break more things then fix

so, in 3cx, how can i allow this agent, its in somekind of block list, should be easy to unblock this? then its fixed for me?

thnx , appreciated

I'm afraid that there's no official or supported way with which to achieve this and even if you were to stumble upon a workaround involving modifications within 3CX, we wouldn't recommend it as it would render the 3CX PBX configuration unsupported and also pose a security risk for the 3CX instance in question.

and what about the local on premise version? i know its possible to remove the agent from the list, but afer a reboot its back again, how can we make it sticky?

on cloud , thats something else, but it should be supported on premise installations
can you guide us with that?

I'm afraid not, there is no way to permanently modify 3CX to allow or block existing or additional user agents regardless of where it's hosted.
