Hi ive got v20 B1620

Extension is in a RG and set to ring mobile.

when a call comes in I can see it in the panel trying to ring ext and mobile but event log states:

Call or Registration to 0xxxxxxxx6@([email protected]) has failed. sip:xxxxxxx:5060;lr replied: Service Unavailable (503)

I can call mobiles fine.

any help?

tx

Sorry in advance, I do realise that this is a bit of a 'teaching your mother to suck eggs" response as I know you are far more competent with 3CX than I am:

Is the mobile number (as dialled by "also ring my mobile") definitely in the format that the SIP provider is expecting?

i.e. if you were to turn on 'informational' event log entries, does the ring my mobile URI exactly match the URI shown when you dial the mobile number yourself?

I provisioned the mobile app and rang the number fine so i dont think it's a formatting issue, how do i turn on information in logging? Its already in verbose.

Service unavailable means the provider was down or has an issue reaching that specific number (bad carrier peering probably!)

Nothing to do with 3CX or formatting.

But then surely i wouldnt be able to dial the number?

Yes you would, if the issue was intermittent, like most "service unavailable" errors.

Event log (in web admin) rather than 'proper' log. Just so you can contrast the formatting of the entry that works (dialling yourself) with the one that doesn't (3CX dialling via 'also ring my mobile').

If one way always works and one always doesn't there must be a difference and that might quickly highlight it for you.
