Hello,

I know this is a recurring issue but I have followed the troubleshooting recommendations to no avail.
Unfortunately, I cannot access any diagnostic logs that could help identify the root cause.

I run GrapheneOS with Android 12 on a Pixel 3a. The 3CX app is installed in a secondary user account. Google Services are installed so the push notifications should work.

The web app rings but clicking the hangup button doesn't work.

Edit: I just learned that the Pixel 3a is no longer supported by GrapheneOS, which might explain the issue.

This can explain your issue. For the same extension but while using another Android device, the issue is the same?

Actually I haven't tried. Let me get back to you.

Give it a try and let us know.

The problem is not my device, thankfully. It is my network. Call reception worked when I switched to mobile data, but I am planning on unsubscribing so I need to fix this network issue. I looked at my Pi-hole logs and I didn't see any blocked domain.

This might require to check with some captures as well but in any case since this is related with your network you may also check guideline below for more information:
https://www.3cx.com/docs/manual/firewall-router-configuration/
I use the free cloud version with the android app. Is it doomed to fail when we are behind a router that blocks all incoming traffic? So let's say if I connect to a public WIFI I couldn't receive calls even if I enable the "Keep active" option ?

The keep active option will keep the extension registered.
Now if the PUSH servers are restricted in your network you will never receive notification.

Can you be more specific? I do get notifications about missed calls but that's all. I thought a tunnel connection would allow the push notifications to get through.

PUSH is sent through the PUSH servers of Google and Apple, the tunnel connection is not for the PUSH

It seems to me like a better way would be to handle the push notification via the tunnel instead of relying on the network having open ports. Or at least give the option.

PUSH is not something we manage entirely as it depends on the PUSH servers of Google and Apple.

The 3CX Android App PUSH Troubleshooting guide at https://www.3cx.com/docs/android-push-troubleshooting/ says:
If you have installed 3CX on premise, or are self hosting 3CX behind a firewall that you manage, it can very well be that your firewall is blocking communication to the Google Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) service
This doesn't apply to me because I use the free cloud version hosted by 3CX.

It works now after realizing my Pi-Hole config was blocking required domains in this list.
