Hello,

we migrated a pbx from the cloud to on premise - so far, so good.

The thing that is not working:
On the Androidclient the presence of other users is displayed correctly and is also being updated live. From an external internet connection the presence status also works fine as described, but on the Numpad it says in the upper right corner "Connecting..." and calls cannot be received or made.

When on internal wifi, everything works fine.

Firewallcheck is fine.

Thanks for your input!

edit:
3cx Version: 16.0.6.655
Androidclient version: 16.5.2.55

Could it be, that you have not allowed the extension to connect when outside the LAN (extension option)? Although, previously (cloud hosted), all would be considered outside the LAN.
Is the Activity Log showing a registration attempt?

Hi,

thanks for your reply.

The option regarding registration outside the LAN did not do the trick, although registration from outside was disabled. This makes me think that this optiom does not apply to the native 3cx app, because exactly this setup worked before migration.

I will check the activity logs,

Greetings,

G

Yes, you're right. The App would be using the tunnel port 5090, and not using SIP port 5060 to register, so it would not have been affected by that option.

Check the firewall rules, to see if are port forwarding port 5090 (tcp and udp)

Hey,

thanks for your replies.

In the end it was a firewall issue (fortinet): the rule was implemented correctly but due to a software glitch was not applied.

Deleting and re-implementing resolved the issue.

We discovered the problem solely through trying everything through.

Best regards

G
