We currently have an old Panasonic DBX system which we are looking to replace with 3CX.

I appreciate that many of the things we have done with the old system will probably become redundant when we move over but purely from a technical point of the view please can anybody advise whether the following can be achieved in 3CX.

We have some members of staff who are rarely sat at their desk. If a calls come in for them and is answered by our receptionist we would like the receptionist to be able to put this call on hold, make a voice announcement to all phones that there is a call come in for this person and then let the person answer the voice announcement from any phone on the system, talk to the receptionist and then take the call.

YES - Achievable.

Create Shared Parking spots and put those as BLF's on the phones everywhere.
Paging can be done in 2 different ways - depending on where the PBX lives as apposed to the phones.
When the page is made, user walks up to a phone and can pick up the shared park right away, or call the receptionist.
This is all about how the customer wants/needs to operate their business.
