I have a client with a regulatory requirement of an anonymous complaint line. We are unable to show the callerID of the person calling in. Can anyone think of a creative way to accomplish this in 3cx?

You should be able to reach out to the SIP provider and have them disable CallerID for that DID.

If they are "unable", or simply unwilling to do that for you, and you get desperate. You could route the call to an ATA, that then sends back into the PBX via a PSTN gateway and trunk. Set the caller ID type, of the ATA to something other than the type on the gateway, so that the Caller ID will not be passed, Of course there is going to be a cost involved if you don't happen to have the hardware on hand.

If the calls always terminated on analogue sets then you could do the same thing with them, make the caller ID incompatible.
