Hi,

We just moved to v18 last night. I was doing some cleanup today and going to set up some monitoring... then I noticed that I was not getting much in the way results from apt-cache searches. I checked /etc/apt/sources.list and noticed only 3cx repos. So the 3cx install process now removes repos from sources.list? I asume it would be frowned upon to add repos.

So I decided I would be a good boy and just compile from source rather than add a repo. Looks like the compilers have been removed also so that was a no-go.. I wish I had added monitoring software before installing 3cx.

We are old school and use Nameon to monitor our internal stuff. What do other people use on their 3cx boxes to monitor tehm from a centralized monitoring platform? Any thoughts on adding repos to teh 3cx install?

I ended up spinning up a Debian 10 VM and compiling there and bringing the stuff over. Not sure how to close posts here, so if anyone wants to close this post they can.
