Hi there,

I am trying to archive my 3CX recordings to AWS Transfer family.

3CX can connect to the SFTP server (confirmed by the logs there).

The recordings are NOT getting archived. Debugging 3CX, I got this:

2022/05/05 04:24:17.013|22875|0075|Exc|Renci.SshNet.Common.SshException: Cannot open file in mode: CREATE|EXCLUSIVE|READ|WRITE
at Renci.SshNet.Sftp.SftpSession.RequestOpen(String path, Flags flags, Boolean nullOnError)
at Renci.SshNet.Sftp.SftpFileStream..ctor(ISftpSession session, String path, FileMode mode, FileAccess access, Int32 bufferSize)
at Renci.SshNet.SftpClient.Create(String path)
at _3cxFilesystemImplementations.SFTP.SftpFolder.CreateFile(String name)
at TcxRecordings.RecordingData.Archive()
at ManagementConsoleJS.Controllers.RecordingListController.<>c__DisplayClass23_0.<<Archive>b__0>d.MoveNext()

So I thought that maybe I needed to give more permissions in AWS. However, with the same permissions I am able to transfer recordings with FZ and WinSCP

Is there anyone successed at at archiving recordings with AWS Transfer Family which is just an SFTP server.

SFTP on 3CX doesn't work with services like AWS Transfer or S3 SFTP. We tried... even some regular SFTP just don't wanna work some times.

I recommend using Google Buckets for this. It's very cheap and works for both backups and recording archives.
