Are 3CX Assistant protocols / interfaces open?

Are these open or maybe available through some NDA so that I could work on building up a Mac OS X similar piece of software?

3CX Assistant is not open source unfortunately. However since its based on .NET a port might not be difficult. Something we will look into later on in the year if there is sufficient demand.

I wasn't asking about 3CX Assistant itself (the application, either the client side or the server side).
Just about the protocols between the application and the 3CX server components.
Is it exclusively SIP-based or are there proprietary communication details?
And those details arethey meant to be opened (not the source code of the application, just the protocols)?
