Not sure if his is a common problem wih 3CX and ATAs, but I have a Grandstream HT486 and a HT488 ATA from which I am sure I could transfer calls to another extension using the recall/flash button on the analogue phone. This ability seems to have disapeared on V5 and I am sure was ok on V3.

Has anyone else noticed this please.

It should not be the issue of V3 or V5. The issue should be from the recall/flash button on the analogue phone.
My ATA list:
Grandstream HT488
GrandstreamHT503
Netgear TA612V

Analogue phones tested result:
Panasonic DECT phones: works fine at both V3 or V5
Uniden DECT phones: works fine at both V3 or V5
Siemens DECT phone: Failed at both V3 or V5
NEC wired analogue phone: Failed at both V3 or V5

Thanks Ricky, I wouldnt have thought it was 3CX either, but I am sure it worked fine on V3.

What firmware is your HT488?

The analogue phone does give a 'flash' condition when he recall button is pressed which is observed on he phone display.

My HT488's firmware 1.0.3.86

Thanks Ricky, I'm on 1.0.3.96 and I didnt keep a copy of 1.0.3.86.

The thought has just crossed my mind that on my test bench I may have used a pair of BT phones rather than the Audioline pair I have now. BT would conform to the standard and deffinitly worked.

I'm assuming (incorrectly) that they should work as they are simply providing a normal recall/LD signal.

Regards

Phil
