When I schedule an audio conference using the old Email (Legacy) option the pin works as expected. If I use the Microsoft 365 and schedule the meeting all the users receive an invalid pin error when entering the pin on the phone. Any ideas?

With no responses it appears I missed something in the Docs somewhere. Will check.

I've not experienced this - after you schedule the meeting does the pin in the email match the pin in the webclient?

So when I checked, the conference was not listed in webclient which is weird because I know it was created. So I created a test one and noticed that the conference was in webclient but only for the first occurrence. I actually scheduled the meeting to be done weekly but 3CX appears to only recognize the first meeting only. Wondering if this is a bug or limitation?

So to get it reoccurring, are you using the reoccur feature in Outlook? I.e. - make the webmeeeting in 3CX webclient, then edit the meeting in Outlook to add reoccuring schedule?

If so, set the meeting date to the LAST date, then edit it and change it as needed.

3CX itself doesn't know about reoccurring meetings - and it will be deleted after the meeting ends, so setting it in the future means it can be used over and over again till that date.

Not really. The steps I take are as follows:

  1. In Webclient Create Conference, select the "later" option and select "Microsoft 365" and click the create button.
  2. This takes me to another browser page at outlook.office365.com. Then I have to select attendees and tell it to repeat once per week. Then I click the save button and the tab goes away and takes me back to 3CX.
  3. Back at 3CX I see the conference is listed but no occurrences. What's going to happen is that the first meeting will work as expected but anything reoccurring will not exist hence why the pin will not work.

I don't understand your work around about "If so, set the meeting date to the LAST date, then edit it and change it as needed.".
Can you explain?

Thanks for your help!

Ah, so you are not using the Legacy method of scheduling, but rather the Microsoft 365 version.

The issue is still the same and the workaround is the same.

3CX doesn't know about the reoccurring portion, that's all happening outside of 3CX. So when in 3CX you schedule a meeting for Jan 15th, then in 365 you edit to reoccur every week, all 3CX knows about is the 15th, not the 22nd, etc. So after the 15th, it gets deleted from 3CX.

The workaround is to set the meeting date in 3CX to a long time in the future - say Jan 1st 2025. Then hit the button that brings you to 365, edit the meeting to be Jan 15th 2023, occurring every week. The link and PIN will work until Jan 1st 2025 this way.

Does that clear things up for you?

That work-around worked, much appreciated!
