This morning we had a group of 4 users do a audio conference in our office. All 4 users were on the 3cx windows phone. All 4 users were on our lan The call quality was extremely poor. They stopped the conference and used skype instead.

My question is where can I see logs of this call and how can I troubleshoot this poor quality on the audio on this conference?

You can look at the Activity log for the calls. It may show a different Codec being chosen that isn't normally used. If it is a LAN/WAN/internet issue, then there probably won't be anything in that log.

There is nothing in the Activity log. These users were on our local lan.

What type of "bad audio" was it...clicks/pops, dropped audio, hiss/noise? Could it have been introduced by one of the devices on the call?

The said it was like you were driving with the window down on speaker phone. I will ask if the quality changed with the addition of any one user.

If it were an audio issue caused by the network, there are usually drop-outs, echo, hollow sounds, delays, etc. A constant sound, like is hiss or static sound, would have me thinking that it was emanating from one of the users devices. It may be a one-off.

It seems to be the windows client. When we switched to either the desk phones, android and ios apps the audio is much better and much clearer.

Try using the clients without the headsets, if these are laptops you can use the default microphone and speakers of the machine. See if that makes a difference if the call quality.
