Solved Audio missing for calls through web client

Hello,

we were very excited to test the new call feature in the web client since using the web client would be suitable for most of our users. However we tried to use it on two machines with Chrome 71 on Ubuntu 18.04 and it did not work at all.

We were able to place the call to a cell phone and the ringing noise could be heard. However as soon as the connection is established there is no audio in neither direction – just silence.

Did anyone experience the same issues with web client calls?

Did you expand your ports in your firewall? The web-client soft phone requires more than what has been needed in the past.

"Important: When upgrading to Update 6 note that the Audio-UDP ports have changed from 9000-9500 to 9000-10999. Adjust your firewall configuration accordingly. And the Internal Port Range needs to change to 7000-8499 (UDP)."
