Auto Answer

Does 3CX support auto answer. Linksys SPA942 phones have a intercom auto answer function that sends out an invite with Answer-after=0 so the called extension will auto answer. This feature is quite common on analog PBX systems and is called Hands Free Intercom usually. Usually you have to dial something like *96xxx where xxx is the extension number.

Are you referring to auto answer by the phone/the extension? If yes then this is a SIP phone function - you would have to find a SIP phone that supports this. If its a popular feature they probably support it.

The Linksys SPA942 does support auto answer but the PBX must cooperate. When the phone makes an auto answer intercom call with "Answer-after=0" in the invite does the PBX pass that through to the called phone so it will auto answer? Alternativly the PBX could support a feature to do an auto answer by dialing a *xx feature code then the extension.
