I am trying to Auto provision 2 phones the Aastra 53i (Latest Firmware) and Snom 300 (latest Firmware)
I have setup 3cx on a windows server 2008r2 box, installed the dot net framwork feature on the server as required. I have also disabled the ie esc (internet explorer enchanced security configuration) as required.
I can create the extensions in 3cx by specifying the Mac of the Phone, the model and the host adapter (nic) I give it all the neccasry details for the extension click Apply and ok as per the guide to auto provision the 2 models in question.
I have 1 created 2 dhcp option 66 for each phone to use the below urls
Snom 300 http://192.168.0.9/management/provisioning/cfg{mac}
Aastra 53i http://192.168.0.9/management/provisioning/
I have also tried to manually point the phones within the phone settings to the above urls still to no avail.
I can manually provision both phones successfully however I would like to get the autoprovision within 3cx to work without having to touch the phones. My question is this the urls above how can I first check they exist and the config files written by the 3cx server are actually there. Where do I look for this area/directorys on the 3cx server? Is it a directory somewhere on the c:drive or is it a site created in IIS as I cant see either of those locations. The IP above in the url is the 3cx server.
Sorry I am new to this and just need to know that first the location exists and second where can I see the conifg files that are ready to be picked up by the phones on bootup?
Any suggestions would be great.
Thanks
Alex
