Hi

I wonder if it is possible for this scenario:

1. I have a VOIP DID, say +6551251234
2. I have set up extension and Digital Assistance to connect to certain extension when user press "1#"
3. Now the question: Is it possible for an external caller to dial "+65512512341#" and 3CX automatically route it so that as if the caller has press "1#"?

Possible?

I think the short answer is yes.

If you have a SIP trunk provider and with this provider you have a number of DIDs, then you can use the inbound rules to examine the DID and if/when encountered, the system will forward to the desired receiving endpoint.

I assume that in your example should a caller go into the digital receptionist, they will hit a key in response to the recorded prompts and than in doing so they will be directed accordingly. By using the DID, they can avoid the DR and be directed immediately to the desired location.

The manual and blog will show how this is done.
