Hi

Is this an option in 3CX when someone calls in, and after waiting in a queue for a certain period of time are prompted to leave voice mail.

“If you are satisfied with your message, press 1. To listen to your message, press 2. To erase and re-record, press 3. To continue recording where you left off, press 4.“ <after a few seconds> “Are you still there?” “If you are satisfied with your message, press 1. To listed to your message, press 2. To erase and re-record, press 3. To continue recording where you left off, press 4.“

You can set the Destination is no Answer of the Queue to an IVR with options.
Also if you want the caller to leave a feedback, you can route them to a CFD with Survey and collect the feedback.
For the CFD you can also check documentation here.

Thanks for your response; however I'm not aware of any IVR options that would allow a customer that called, that would allow them to listen to the voice message they just left, erase it and start over or continue where they left off. If there is please advise.

Have you checked the default voicemail options?
Listening to the voicemail greeting the caller by default, after he leaves a message he can press # to stop the recording, after that he has options available and decide to save, hear the recording or start over.

Thanks Theodoro. I had checked a voice mail but at the time didn't think of it not being a default, which gave no prompts; so I checked another extension and confirmed it had the default message, which did have the prompts you mention.

Have you checked the options even if using a custom prompt?
All is working properly now?

Yes options are there, just need to make sure our voice message stats the options like the default does, thanks for your help

Glad to assist ;)
