AWS Marketplace image

What is the preferred method installing 3CX on Amazon AWS servers. Any instructions I have found reference a "3CX Phone System" image which is no longer available as far as I can see on Amazon Marketplace.

I have also tried manual instructions but the 3cxpbx package referenced cann't be found any more either.

For the time being, you may use the 3CX Portal to install the 3CX system.

I would strongly recommend using the 3CX Hosted machines instead.

Ok, no problem.

Is there a timeline on the Azure/AWS images being available again? Also, as all the documentation is geared towards using one of the images, and installing from command line was removed a few years ago, is there support available for installing in a self-hosted cloud environment?

With all the events of the last few weeks, I need if the strong recommendation to use 3CX hosted machines is in any way related? Details not required, simply if the recommendation has become stronger in the last few weeks.

Unfortunately no ETA can be provided, but I stated we are working on this.

About the 3CX Hosted and 3CX Startup, we were and we still do recommend using these options.
I understand your reference to the recent incident, although this was specific to the 3CX Desktop App and specific versions of the software (provided publicly from our side) and not the 3CX System.

I would like to use the 3CX Portal to install 3CX to Azure (calls delay with Teams Intergration so I want to try different hosting), do you have a kb that I can follow?

I selected Self-hosted with your cloud provider, selected Yes to restore backup, but not sure what would happen after I upload the backup?

Unfortunately there is no ETA for that, we’re awaiting an update from their end regarding this. We have taken all the required actions on our side. Hopefully it will be relisted in the coming days. We will of course keep you posted.
