Backing up to off site location using FTP

We want to back up our clients to a Qnap unit in our off site hosting site that is running ftp. It is backing up no problem, but under backup and restore on the 3cx system it does not show the files that were backed up every day. Are we missing something

I use same scenario to keep off site pbxs backup and it works.
Did you set a specific user to each pbx in FTP server , have you granted access to FTP backup folders?

I have the permissions set for full access for the user and still do not see them

if you use filezilla to access your ftp with credentials you use on pbx , does it work?

yes it does

so almost credentials are good, now can you share some screen of your backup settings (hide sensitive infos)

do you use same FTP account for all pbxs?

There is a seperate account for each pbx. enclosed is a shot of the location settings

do you use special character in ftp path? a specific port?
try to create a ftp folder really basic like "test" and try to set it on a 3CX PBX to see if it behave normally

We have kept it simple with no special characters and the standard ports. It will save the backup file, but as you see above, it does not show the files

I'm guessing it's a firewall issue in front of your QNAP.

I looked at that, but it connects to write the files to the qnap unit, it just does not read the file directory back into the backup directory in the 3cx console

so if almost backup are done , first try i'll do will be to make a backup without KEY and FDDN
then install a demo pbx on a fresh pc with a trial licence and try to restore your backup and check what you got.

if all seems restored properly and working, then delete 3cx on new computer , reinstall and this time restore your backup from production pbx

The problem is that you do not see the files on the 3cx backup display. You need to go to the QNAP unit and get it from there. If i backup to google as a example, it shows the backup files in the 3cx backup console and i do not have to go to google to get them.

Well probably QNAP FTP server incompatibility with 3CX FTP embedded client
In previous time i got also problems with proftpd server running on FN freebsd server
