Howdy!

I am trying to run a backup so I can move the PBX to new hardware. Based on the scheduled backups, which run weekly the file size should be 2gb ish. When I run a manual backup it seems to stop around 87meg. It's been around 8 hours, so it should be finished by now.

Is there a log or anything I can look at? Nothing in the Windows Application log related to postgres or any services stopping. Nothing in the Activity log that looked out of place either. Any pointers?

I think the root of the problem is related to this entry in the Windows App log.

PostgreSQL - Event ID 0

LOG: server process (PID 12404) was terminated by exception 0xC0000005
DETAIL: Failed process was running: COPY myphone_callhistory_v14 TO STDOUT WITH CSV HEADER
HINT: See C include file "ntstatus.h" for a description of the hexadecimal value.

I deleted the call history and I was able to do a backup. They didn't need it so we got lucky. Issue resolved. :)

Indeed from the logs it seems to stop at the call history, indicating that there may have been corruption in that database.

I was going to suggest to access your call history or try to run a report to test this theory, but since you purged the calls and the backup went ahead you should be fine.
