Backup Location from Amazon Lightsail

I run most of my instances on Amazon Lightsail. I used to make backups to My Google Drive, but that has now been discontinued. What are you using to make backups now? Is it safe to back them up locally on the amazon lightsail account?

I use a Google Storage bucket. It works great. Also cheap.
