I created a backup and set a password but i forgot the password . Can anyone help me ?

No one can assist with this I’m afraid, that’s the point of the backup encryption. There is no way to crack it.

No, the system I'm running is from a backup without a password, and the backup with a password is several months older.

As mentioned this cannot be retrieved. You are not able to create another backup or you want to restore this specific?
