Hello Community,
I'm trying to configuring backup to SFTP location.
The credentials and the server is accepted on teh config, but the backup isn't running.
Do you know where I can check for backup location access logs on 3CX?
on SFTP server I odn't see any attemps to access SFTP coming from my 3CX server.
Thank you!

following messages I get in the SSH logs on SFTP server:
Mar 18 07:06:17 localhost sshd[23851]: Accepted password for SFTP_USER from xx.xx.xx.xx port 45834 ssh2
Mar 18 07:06:17 localhost sshd[23851]: pam_unix(sshd:session): session opened for user SFTP_USER by (uid=0)
Mar 18 07:06:18 localhost sshd[23851]: Received disconnect from xx.xx.xx.xx port 45834:11: Connection terminated by the client. [postauth]
Mar 18 07:06:18 localhost sshd[23851]: Disconnected from xx.xx.xx.xx port 45834 [postauth]
Mar 18 07:06:18 localhost sshd[23851]: pam_unix(sshd:session): session closed for user SFTP_USER

it looks like 3CX tries to access SFTP backup location and after 1 second it disconnects by itself.

I just wnat to find the logs on 3CX server side. Anybody knows where are they located?

Hi,

Have you tried a manual backup and got an email informing you that it failed?

What you see is normal because 3CX will do the above just to check the connectivity and the right to write to the folder.

I found the issue.
it was wrong URL in the SFTP path in the backup location config "sftp://xx.xx.xx.xx/". that means it was pointing to the root folder on my SFTP server. but the user didn't have access to the root folder.
so I changed it as following: "sftp://xx.xx.xx.xx/SFTP/" and it started working.
