I have a customer that is dialing disconnected numbers but the system doesn't present them with the 'disconnected number recording' on the other side. Calling the number from a cell phone presents it right away.

I do get an error about the 408/503 in an email, but the user on the phone really needs to hear the disconnect message.

Is there a way to enable this?

Are you using an approved SIP trunk provider?

I'm using Voip Innovations. Shouldn't matter.

It matters - not all SIP trunk providers put the same information in the same fields they send to you and they may expect different information in the fields that 3CX sends to them. Approved providers have been demonstrated to be compatible and have a template with all the necessary settings to work with that provider.

You can usually get an unsupported provider to work but it sometimes requires fiddling. I would suggest speaking to VOIP Innovations support to ask for the settings to be used for one of their SIP trunks in 3CX as this likely pops up for them all the time.
