Barge In - Appending Extension 0001 Name

Hey Guys,
I got a bit of a odd one.
When utilizing the Barge In feature, on the 3CX Windows Application when connecting Barge In, for some reason it is appending extension 0001 name. (In the screen shot I changed extension 0001 name to Test1 "

This doesn't seem to be the case on the physical phone or the 3CX web UI. Those both show "Barge In" as seen in the screen shot.

Anyone else seen this behavior before? Maybe a bug in the 3CX for Windows Application?

If it is a bug, I assume the simple answer is just don't use 0001 as a extension.

I should have tested it a little more.
So deleted extension 0001, and the appended name has moved up to another extension. Odd thing is its not the next one in order, We have a 0003, 0004, and so on. It is now appending 1100 name.

First off, what version of 3CX and what version of the 3CX Windows App are you running?

Also, just so that we get a better understanding of the situation:

• What extension is being used on the 3CX Windows App? Is it not the same as the extension number being appended?

• Are you using the 3CX Windows App in CTI mode with an IP Phone?


• If yes, switch it back to softphone mode, do you still get the same? To see the extension number is expected when using CTI mode but it should be the same extension number as the extension configured on the 3CX Windows App.

Just wanted to let you know that testing has been made regarding this matter and we have confirmed that there is an issue causing the behavior you describe when using the 3CX Windows App in CTI mode. We are currently looking into it.
