Beronet through SBC

Hello guys !

A customer wants to keep few analog phones so I'm thinking to put a Beronet. The 3CX is cloud-based and on site there is a SBC with 15 phones.

Is it possible to connect the Beronet through the SBC ?

Yes it is but it is unsupported by 3CX.

Simply set the registration address on the beronet (after creation of the config on 3CX) as the address of the SBC either manually or on the configuration file.

It will funnel everything up the SBC from there.

It should be fine, beroNets are very simple gateways so should not be difficult to setup.

maybe you can use spa112 as its probably cheaper than beronet

But un-supported by 3CX, however with that being said so is setting up any gateway through an SBC.

It will be worth a try, it's value and anyway both aren't supported through SBC so

Hello guys ! We had an urgent need for a customer, so we placed a SPA112 behind a SBC to make work a FAX device.
SPA112 perfectly connected to the 3CX putting SBC IP in the SPA112. Then we attached a DID and sent some FAX. Works like a charm

In supported stuff probably a grandstream fxo and for unsupported stuff I'll say the SPA112 as I just tried it and it works well for the moment !

Yes SPA112 is easy to configure and works well even if unsupported, dont know why and its cheap, efficient and you can configure lot of things.

Has anyone tested SPA112 with a postage machine? I tried it and it shows unable to connect (log shows connected for 22s). I think it cannot communicate with other side..
I am able to send fax though.
What is Modem pass-through mode in SPA112?
