Best Codec order for self-hosted PBX in Vultr using Bandwidth.com trunks

All our PBXs are hosted in Vultr, and use Bandwidth.com trunks

We've noticed poor audio quality, it just sounds awful, not clear and crisp. Our current order is below. Should we moved PCMU to the top, or leave G729 at the top? We use the Web Client primarily.

I also just noticed that in the Bandwidth SIP trunk settings the codecs are set as:



If I click Add Codecs, I get:

You should find out what codecs Bandwidth uses, and match those. IOW, use the same codec list everywhere. So if you haven't changed your trunk, use those two.

note the names used within 3CX can vary:
G.711 U-law = PCMU
G.711 A-law = PCMA
