  • Phone Model: Cyrus CS45XA
  • Android Version: Android 9
  • App Version: Beta App V16.7.4.74
  • 3CX PBX Version: V16.0.8.9 / Debian
  • Network Connection: all types
  • Client is on the same network as the PBX or not?: On WIFI yes.

I just tried the latest Beta App on our Companies Devices which are Cyrus CS45XA.
With the new beta you switched on telecom API/Bluetooth Support by default. Unfortunately using Bluetooth Headsets with the 3CX App has never worked on these Devices and with the new Beta App it still does not work.

  • You get stuck on a Blank Call Screen (this Screen appears when calling with the Internal Phone App).
  • The ringtone is silent, there is no Vibration and you cannot accept the call.

I have already tried resetting the Phone, installing Updates, clearing Caches, different Headsets, etc. but nothing seems to work on these devices.

So please do not push out Updates to this device Model or atleast disable the Bluetooth Support by Default for these devices as we have 100+ Workers using these !!
If you need any more Info about the devices please send me a message !

@IT Gruppe

We mentioned in the blog post that the purpose of this beta was exactly to collect feedback about Telecom API functionality on devices we don't have, I'm quoting:

"Since it’s impossible for us to test with all the Android devices out there, please let us know if you have any issues in our Android forum. With this information we can build a list of devices that do not support telecom API and switch off the integration by default for those devices."

We'll handle this in the next update.
Thanks for feedback!

we have issues with one way audio on Samsung A20's (Can hear caller, caller can't hear staff member)

@Brad Cann
Please try to turn OFF the Telecom API option in client Settings/Advanced and see if the audio is OK.
Thanks!

Yeah that fixes the issue, but it is enabled by default...

We'll do it, nobody reported it while on beta.
Thanks for feedback!

@Brad Cann
We just tried on a Samsung Galaxy A20e and we have proper audio if Telecom API is enabled.
What's your exact model?

Had a user having the same issue (one way audio), disabled the Telecom API and it was solved.
The user told us it was a Samsung Galaxy A7.
(Makes sense, since the A5, A6 and A8 were already on the 'disabled by default'-list)
