In this new beta, we’ve switched on telecom API by default. This means you can use Bluetooth headsets and also hands-free for the car. You no longer need to switch on the telecom API to enable this integration.
The telecom API is the standard on Android for integration with headsets and hands-free. However, on some older phones, the telecom API can create issues, which was the reason we had it switched off previously. For example, Samsung S10 & S8 models have issues with the telecom API. It’s not only an issue with 3CX, as this is apparent also with other apps.
Since it's impossible for us to test with all the Android devices out there, please let us know if you have any issues in our Android forum. With this information we can build a list of devices that do not support telecom API and switch off the integration by default for those devices.
And do let us know if it works too! Phone model and car type if at all possible! A picture even better!
