I was wondering if anyone had similar issues and if they did how did they fix them. My system made up of Yealink T46S, Yealink T46G, Snom 720, and Snom D725 Phones.

The inconsistency between Phones and BFL status seems to span across multiple phones but here are two smaller examples.

Ring group consisting of extension 129,116,110,143.

Procedure 1 (Support Pack – 3Cx Support)
Called from my cell phone 4xx-3xx-9xxx
Picked up the call on extension 129.
Waited 5 seconds then placed the call on Park1 (SP1) using extension 129
It too 23 seconds for the Park 1 BFL light to register there was a call on Park1(SP1) on Extension 110 and Extension 129
I then put the call back on Park1(SP1) using extension 129
I waited 60 seconds for the BFL light to register a call. Neither extension 110 or 129 showed signs of a call on Park1(SP1)
I then Hung up.
*During this procedure the BFL lights for the 4 extensions in the ring group never stopped blinking red. (129,143,110,116)

Procedure 2 (Support Pack – 3Cx Support2)
Called from my cell phone 4xx-3xx-9xxx
Picked up the call on extension 129.
Waited 5 seconds then placed the call on Park1 (SP1)
It took 5 seconds for the Park1(SP1) BFL to register a call on extension 129 and 110.
I picked up the call on Park1(SP1) again using extension 129
It took 20 seconds for the BFL lights on extension 129 and 110 to turn green, register the call had been taken off of Park1(SP1)
I placed the call back on Park1(SP1) using extension 129
It took 8 seconds for the BFL lights on extension 129 and 110 to register the call placed on Park1(SP1)
I then picked up the call on Park1(SP1) using extension 129
I waited 60 seconds for the BFL light on extension 129 or 110 to acknowledge the call was no longer being parked on Park1(SP1). The two extensions did not see the change
I then hung up.
*During this procedure, the BFL lights associated with the extensions in the ring group worked correctly after the initial pick up of the call. (Stopped blinking red and turned green) (129,143,110,116)

The resultant parking and phones acknowledging a call on park is inconsistent. Plus the fact the BLF lights continue to blink after the call has been picked up.
Tech support says to look at my network. Any ideas?

The big question - where are the phones in relation to the pbx server and what OS are you running?

The PBX server is running on Server 2012. The phones are all on the same network as the PBX, though there are 2 Switches between all of the phones in the ring group and the PBX.

The PBX itself has two cards in it. One for connection to the WAN the other for connection to the LAN.

The 2 NICS may not be setup 100% correctly...
I do not have any BLF issues - and have 6 switches with phones and not on a separate VLAN.

NIC1 (LAN)
IP:192.168.100.17
Subnet:255.255.254.0 (192.168.100.0-192.168.101.255)
All phones are given a 192.168.101.xxx IP for ease of management
Gateway:192.168.100.1
DNS:192.168.100.13,192.168.100.16

NIC2 (WAN) Behind a router
IP:192.168.253.219
Subnet:255.255.255.0
Gateway:192.168.254.1
DNS:192.168.254.1

I'm not sure if there are specific parameters I can to specify internal call routing.

Let me know.
Thank you.

If I recall, 3cx should only have 1 gateway. Otherwise it gets confused.
But I've never set this up myself.

Sorry just checked. The Gateway on NIC1 is left blank.

Any ideas? Or am I S.O.L?

I have also thought that maybe I have a bad Phone(s) but that cold get interesting with 47 register phones.

Hi Dennis,

Whenever the BLF state changes, the PBX will notify the phones to change their indicators.

I think you should run a capture on your network switch (provided there are no other network elements of course) and see if the NOTIFY messages are transmitted correctly across the network. I don't think you have bad phones, but if those messages don't arrive when they should or at all then the BLF indicators on the phones will miss behave as you described above
