BLF key programming EXP40 on T46S Yealink (without custom template)

HI All

I had a quick look on the forum and had some of my questions answered but not all.

I want to provision x3 EXP40 modules connected to a T46S without using a custom template. How do I skip page2 and only configure page1 of each expansion module using the 3CX admin GUI?

I know if I start at key28 I will add on the first module.

Starting at 28 and adding 20, skipping 20, and adding 20 again-

I initially thought this is not the solution because I added them in batches and it didn't seem to work, but adding all BLF keys on 3CX admin console side, factory resetting the phone and then auto provisioning sorted the issue out for me.

Hi Carmen,

The built in template will take you across 2 expansion modules.

If you want more, you will have to customize your own templates.

Thank you. Can you perhaps suggest any how-to guides for best practise on using custom templates? I am new to custom templates..

Also you can try the following as an alternative (without the need for any custom templates).
I don't have 3 expansions here to test so give it a go and see if it works:

1. Provision as many as you can from 3CX (should be up to position 107)
2. Provision the rest manually on the phone UI, without touching the ones 3CX auto-provisioned for you
3. Restart the phone and see if the ones beyond position 107 still remain on the phone

If this is effective, you can run it this way and maybe take a backup of the phone config in case you need to reset the device in the future so you can easily restore the BLFs
