BLF Labels Too Long - Custom Label?

Dear All

We are using Fanvil X7 phone and find that the BLF label is too long, so we can't read all of it.

Is there any way in 3CX to change the label, rather than showing the full name please? I would rather avoid custom templates if at all possible.

Hi John,

If you want to keep BLF functionality (busy/free status) then no.

If you just need speed dials then you can customize the names from the 3CX management console

Upon a quick look, no. The phone does not seem to have this setting on the screen menus

Yealink phones have an option called "Label Length: Extended" where the blf description name goes much longer. Perhaps the Fanvil phones have a similar feature. I'm not sure how well that would work on the touch screen phones though.
