Solved BLF on physical phones?

As I am slowly migrating devices and extensions over, I've got BLF setup on my GXP2170 and I do not get any indication. Is BLF supported on physical devices?

Yes blf keys are supported on IP phones but i would recommend using the management console to add them to the phones.

Hi there....I am not using provisioning, is this a problem? WIth other PBXes I can add them to the device and it just starts to work.

I am testing provisioning and the BLF are there but grayed out with a ? next to it, just the same as when I did it manually. I'm also testing newer firmware (I am a beta tester for Grandstream). SO I am stumped as to why its not working. I do like the provisioning but would like it to support multiple accounts. Before I can do that we need to get the basics working for us. Thanks!

Update: I factory reset the 2170 and after a few reprovisions/reboots it is working now (BLF). What I'd like to know is why when manually provisioned, it didn't work? Thanks

Glad to see the BLF work when provisioning the phone. I could not say why the buttons did not work when manually setup as i cannot know the procedure followed and where this could have gone wrong. Since they work when provisioning the phone i would recommend sticking with this method.
