I have a setup for a small client with 5 users. One of the users uses the mobile app which works fine, but is it possible to show that user's status on the other users that are in the office? Right now it shows as he's available even though he's on the phone.

Hi.
The mobile application does not have a BLF, nor a switchboard where you can see all the live calls and for that, you will have to use the WebClient/ Deskphone application.

Perhaps I'm misreading your question but if the user is on a call in the 3CX app on his device and another user has a BLF for his extension on their device (IP Phone, webclient, etc), that should reflect correctly.

Of course if he's on a cellular call that won't change a 3CX status, but that's to be expected.

He is using the 3CX mobile app, not on the cellular call. The other user's desk phone does not report his status, always says available. Another person on this thread said, that the mobile app will not report status.

I think the other poster may have misunderstood your question.

Regardless of what the endpoint is that makes a call, a call in the 3CX system will change the status of the extension.
You are saying that a person using the mobile app makes a call and a person looking at the webclient looks at that user, the green dot doesn't change?

that the mobile app will not report status
The mobile app shows the color status on the Team page. The mobile app does not have BLF buttons.

If the mobile app is in a call (in or outbound) 3CX knows that, and anything else (3CX web client, app, phone) will show the status of that extension.

Two possible scenarios are that the person is making a cellular call not through 3CX, as mentioned above, or perhaps they do not have the correct extension active on the mobile app. The app can have more than one...in the app open the 3-bar menu -> Accounts.

Here's our current setup:

User 1: In office using Yealink Desk Phone
User 2: Remote using 3CX mobile app (also has a Yealink Desk Phone)

When user 2 is on the phone using the mobile app, user 1 doesn't see the status on the desk phone. When user 2 is on the desk phone, user 1 sees the user is busy on the phone.

I verified the account on the mobile app and he is using the correct account.

I had someone in our office check one of the phones in our lab. If I call his (different) extension on my mobile app the BLF for me shows red on the phone. It's a Yealink T42S.

Since you're in this forum presumably your 3CX is hosted externally. Are you using an SBC for this phone? If not try that, maybe something isn't right with the STUN setup.

I can try SBC. But even when user 1 is on the mobile app with an external caller, user 2 in the office can't see his status.
