Hello,

I need assistance with configuring Yealink T43U phones.

I have 4 BLF keys set up as lines (Line 1, Line 2, etc.). How can I configure the BLF line lights so that, for example, when someone is on Line 1, the light shows red, and when another call comes in, Line 2 blinks, allowing the customer to pick up Line 2?

The system is hosted with 3CX.

Hi,

You need to enable "Accept Multiple Calls" on the extension Call Forwarding options, under your Available profile. This will allow the phone to accept multiple calls (ie. like call waiting). It works for direct calls, not queues for example.

You can also edit the BLFs on the extension (not the phone itself) and select "Line" for the first couple of keys, and now when a call comes in and you answer it, the first line key will blink until you pick up. If a 2nd call arrives you will see the 2nd line key flash. Press it to answer and line 1 goes on hold.

You don't really need the line keys, the phone allows you to answer the 2nd call through its menus so it's more of a matter of preference.
