Blocking Faxes

We're getting a lot of spam faxes to our office. Is there a way in 3cx to block them?

Are you talking actual faxes to your fax number/extension or just fax calls/tones on your voice line? Either way, the fact that it is a fax doesn't change anything. You block them the same way you block spam/bogus voice calls. Blacklist the number, talk to your provider to see if they have any spam/junk call mechanism (we offer Nomorobo for example) or wait until STIR/SHAKEN is implemented which will reduce spoofed calls.

Is there a way to set up a block without the number? We're also getting a lot of spam faxes. I usually just add the numbers to the block list, but sometimes they come in without a fax number attached. Is there a way to block any faxes/calls that come in without a caller id number?

my sip provider send me 0Anonymous as caller ID for calls without numbers, so i create a CID rule to reject this like that

perhaps this is your caller id

try to create CID rule and see if it reach his goal or not, perhaps you can ask your sip provider to send you signifiant ID you can filter when on destination to your fax number and send with no caller Id.

Have also filters i can activate directly from my sip account manager on provider side so before it comes to my PBX

Why did you put the 0 in front of the Anonymous?
