Solved Blocking prank calls.

Hi, this is joseph and I own 8 stores. So recently our 3rd store has been getting lots of prank calls from kids and teens asking stupid questions about toilet paper and asking to page for inappropriate names. And I'm wondering how to stop these prank calls because this just started yesterday. Is there any way to stop these types of calls? Because they are taking up our phone bills. My server runs Debian 10. And 3cx is V18.

Set up a CID rule that sends anonymous calls and prankster numbers to it.

If you don't want to Rickroll them, a "no longer in service" message also works.

Thanks! I've set up a caller id lookup source feature that our phone provider called Twilio has and the kids called the 1st store which I always work at. I picked up and told them their parent's name and I hung up. And called back the number from my cellphone and the parents apologized and I sent them a text of the recorded calls. And then more kids kept calling and told them can you hold please and transferred them to a rickroll number and they finally stopped.

You can also block the calls in the 3cx management interface via the blacklist.
Go to Security - Blacklisted numbers and then add the numbers there.

Thanks! I just realized they were calling from prepaid numbers and I blocked them. I also put prank call in the description. And yet the calls were coming from google voice numbers and VOIP apps. And we blacklisted some more and they stopped.
