I'm having an issue where my Bluetooth headset is not terminating audio connections when using either calls via the 3CX Browser Extension or audio in 3CX WebMeetings. Calls are terminated (as far as the PBX in concerned) - the audio stream to the Bluetooth headset isn't (or, it isn't consistently).
I'm using the following:
- Sennheiser MB Pro 1 Bluetooth headset (with latest firmware)
- Google Pixel Slate running ChromeOS (latest stable release)
- 3CX Server v16 release 5, with the latest hotfix and updates installed
The issue here is, upon terminating a call or ending a WebMeeting, ChromeOS and the headset believes it is still in a call (i.e. the audio stream is still open) and for following phone calls the Browser Extension answers them but the headset can't deal with the audio (because it thinks it's already in a call).
I'm hesitant to think it's ChromeOS and/or Sennheiser software/firmware causing the issue, as it's only the 3CX Browser Extensions and 3CX WebMeeting causing this - e.g. when I stream audio (say) from YouTube, it's fine. Though, the only way I have found a fix for this is to reboot the headset - disconnecting and reconnecting the Bluetooth connection doesn't seem to work.
I can also see a ChromeOS notification for the 3CX Browser (attached), and when you click the play icon it plays the 3CX ringtone... I'm guessing this is due to it being an extension that's always on for audio, but I don't think it's working properly with ChromeOS to terminate call audio correctly.
Is this a known issue, or does anyone else have it? Anyone seen similar on Windows?
Is the 3CX Browser Extension supported for use on ChromeOS? I can't see anywhere that it isn't.
