If I have two systems connected via a bridge, can one of the systems have the telco trunk connectivity and route calls to the connected system based on the inbound call rules (DIDs).
Essentially share a PRI/T1/E1 between the two systems.

DID rules are meant to route a call to a local extension, you are attempting to turn that local extension into a number that can be utilized by the outbound rules. I have not seen that done as , in many cases, it requires a routing prefix.. What you may have to do is create dummy extensions on the PBX with the outbound trunks. Forward calls across the bridge from each of the extensions.
