Hi,

I cannot find document on how to add a user from a remote site to a local group on the main site.
We have brdige setup
site1. - master extension 200 - 210
site2 - slave extension 300-310

Site1 have a group called ringall Group. How do i add site2 extension 300 to that group?

thank you

that's not possible to mix settings through a bridge, this is just like a trunk ,nothing else.

You may be able to use the ring my mobile feature, on an extension that is a part of a ring group, on the originating PBX. If it is a ring group member you are talking about. Send the call over the bridge to the extension on the second PBX. Of course , this is only for calls in one direction, they are still not a "real" member of the original ring group.

yeah. that is what I thought. I throught by briding the two system will allow me to see each other ringgroup and add them into it. I guess this is not the case. I should of just setup site to site VPN for both site and just have those remote phone connect locally.

Anyway. a workaround for me now as you stated is to setup a dummy local extension from site1 then setup ring my mobile feature and enter a DID for site2. So it'll ring at the same time and in that Site2 with the DID I will setup a ringgroup and add in the extension into it. This will work .

Thank you
