Hello all,
I am trying to gauge the situation with a device and the issue of it not broadcasting to the 3cx console.
It is an unsupported speaker horn device that a client has asked us to see if we can get it working anyway. It is a TOA IP HORN SPEAKER IP-A1SC15 and it will connect via an remote SBC which is configured currently and routing a dozen or so devices. The Horn is plugged in/powered and I can access the web interface.
The question I have at the moment is, should the speaker be broadcasting to the console and showing up in the phones section?
I understand that to make it function a custom template will need to be used, but to get it to simply show in the phones section of the console I have plugged in/powered it and added a user in the console and under Phone provisioning used a SNOM profile with the devices MAC address.
It was my understanding that I should at least be able to see it broadcasting.
If anyone has any advice it would be appreciated!
Thanks,
Best,
Brent
