Hi Folks,

I might need a 3CX employee to answer this.
I noticed there are now two options in 3CX for BT.

WSIPT - Wholesale sip, BT require we use a samsung gateway device if we use this.
Reading this thread I have seen a mention of HSIPT here - https://www.3cx.com/community/threads/3cx-with-bt-sip.52578/#post-216819

Just wondering if HSIPT allows me to use 3CX without a Samsung gateway or any other device, directly with BT?. I think WSIPT is only available via BT wholesale 3rd party.

Thanks

HSIPT works with 3CX - follow the template to the letter.

Available from Daisy Wholesale and no doubt others.

We are testing it and it seems fine.

I'm assuming direct from BT it still has the same limitations as WSIPT?

Not sure what the limitations are that you are referring to?

I know that the HSIPT you cannot change the outgoing CLI, which is a pain.

Whether from BT or a wholesaler, the HSIPT is the same product.

The limitation of going through BT directly was they required you to use a Samsung Ubigate device.
Although BT's only offering was there WSIPT product, HSIPT is a new offering.

I'm currently with BT directly and I'd like to keep it that way if possible, but using a Samsung Ubigate device would be a deal breaker. I'm hoping the requirement for a Ubigate device is no longer there for the HSIPT offering.
