Bug: Search extensions by MAC with multiple devices

Searching the extension section by MAC address only works if there is 1 phone (and 3cx app) assigned to the extension.
If there are 2 or more devices with MAC addresses assigned to an extension, none of them show up in the search.


1. Added phone with MAC 000000000001 to extension 0022. Searching by 000000000001 works. Phones = 2, the device and 3cx app.



2. Removed device with MAC 000000000001 and added a device with MAC 000000000002. Searching by 000000000002 works. Phones = 2, the device and 3cx app.



3. Now I've added devices with MACs 000000000001 and 000000000002 to extension 0022. Phones = 3, both devices, and the 3cx app.



Searching by MAC no longer works.

The values with which one can search for extensions in the Management Console's "Extensions" are the following:
Extension Number, First Name, Last Name, Email, Mobile, Caller ID, Sync Service.

Any other values for searching extensions should not yield any results and such cases will be addressed in 3CX v18.

Are you suggesting that searching by MAC address under extensions is not supposed to work at all, and that will be removed in v18?
If so, how do you propose locating which extension a MAC address is assigned to, without going into every single extension and checking manually?

That is correct.

You could indeed use the method @cobaltit mentioned and just export the extensions .csv file, though do note that the .csv file will only contain information for the first IP Phone configured for every extension.
